Re: Noddi's MX na6
Ok I’m just going to rush through what’s happened over the next couple of years and get up to where I am now as not a lot really changed.
I did have some great pictures of my car my dad did for me.
Handy when your dad is a pro photographer with 46 years’ experience under his belt.
Here are a few of them. We went out to a local workshop for an industry looking back scene
Oh unless I stated before I scored a front oem splitter locally and a plastic rear from the states.
Enjoy

Re: Noddi's MX na6
Next up I stumbled across a pair of Work Meisters in 15x9.5 4x100 with gunmetal centres.
I had always dreamed of having a set of these and the width these had been made to got me thinking. Could I squeeze them under the back????
I loved stance and to have my dream wheels in a silly size was well worth a look considering even more how much I brought this pair for.
I sat down to work out where they would sit on the hub.
I then made up a jig out of wood to represent the rim size and width.
The following day I went out jacked up the car and started tinkering around seeing what they may hit.
Turns out nothing I was safe so after double/triple checking everything I went ahead and brought them.
I also stumbled across a pair of wildwood 4 spot callipers braided lines and 280mm drilled rotors on hubs for a good price.
Snapped them up as well and waited for both to arrive.
Pic of rim on brake. I had to use a 5mm spacer to clear the calliper.
I went about ordering another pair after doing the maths so they matched the rear once on the car in 15x8.5.
I also asked about the brake clearance problem I had. They said they could make them to clear hopefully so I went with that.
6 months is a long time when you are waiting on toys to get made and delivered
In this time I got a set of Toyo Proxy 4s (proxes for particulars) in 205 and 225 sizes so I had them ready.
Also got offered a new job so moved over to Vic where I am now and have been for about 2 years now.
Here are some pictures after I got the other pair and got the tyres fitted. First squirt with them on
Also these are the same as the start of my thread so no real change

Hahaha

I personally wouldn’t do it again.
I would love to custom the guards to flare the metal out and run like that.
Kind of hot rod style but not if you can picture what I mean.
Thanks for the complements though. Muchly appreciated

They are a great set of flares don’t get me wrong following the body lines rather than just sticking out is my main reason for getting them.
They could do with a touch up in places maybe one day. But for the time being they play there part fine. The car is my toy. Not so much a show queen or anything like this. The reason for wanting all metal would be I guess different again and something about all metal work instead of fiberglass really appeals to me.
Thanks tho all the same

I have been tempted by a couple recently... but patience is a virtue. Having money is also handy.
