Quick update, Short shifter came in the mail the other day, was put on on Tuesday, went for drive and started to hear a weird noise coming from gear box, was taken off Wednesday morning :[ Quite pissed off, just wasted $100 on a shifter that didn't even come with instructions, when I asked supplier for help he pretty much said "Google it" upon googling it I found install instructions for similar shifters, which I followed, and turned out to be way too tight, could not move it with all my force behind it. long story short really pissed off about it at the moment and if anyone has installed an Ultrex short shifter with success before I would love to know how....

I haven't heardy much about those short shifters unfortunately but everyone seems to rave about how good this one is, so its the only one I'd ever consider buying

Ok, well not much has happened, have to pay fines, rego etc. and been out of pocket a bit, short shifter is back in, used a extra spacer-ey thing and working a treat. Enrolled myself in the SAU Motorkhana event, shall be my first motor sport event ever, so I'm exited, got a helmet today, all ready for fun this time next week, havn't done to much to the car, more just preparation.

Power-steering fluid has been changed to synthetic. cleaned the engine up a bit. Made a fire extinguished bracket up last night, worked a treat cost me like $5 in material. And stole a friends Bride and put that into the car on the stock rails with a few adapters made up to get it to work.

Anyway couple of pictures:

You need a helmet to do a motorkhana in Vic?? :? Anyway, enjoy it - I'm sure you will. I love motorkhanas.

That stain on the seat looks like someone, er... got a little scared...

Yer I didn't think you needed a helmet. But the entry from says it.

I spoke to the guy, he said he had a bottle of coke on the seat whilst working on the car and knocked it over.... bit more re-assuring than the other alternative :P

Will try and clean it off soon.

Well, SAU DECCA day was yesterday, had a blast went to my property in Heatcote and stayed Friday night. Bad idea. Up till two drinking and back up again at 6. Bad idea.

Had a ball though, Motorkhana was a blast on skid pan, so fun, slaughtering high powered cars around the tighter portions of the courses. Did 4 runs there before moving onto the "Mini Wang" and "Mega Wang" tracks. which were fun but poorly maintained and ruined it a bit. You'd come over a crest only to find a nice pot hole or a patch of dirt from someone spinning out. Still had a blast when I learn't sliding was funner than driving :]

Then on to Motorkhana battles which were amusing, beat a s14, 33 GTR, and a mates s14 only lost to an s14 in the first battle as I got lost :[

Had a blast, can't wait for another one, car held up well, everyone was pleasantly surprised with it. Still waiting on times to be posted..

I WANT MORE!!!

Happy with how they fit, need to be a bit lower and need to add a bit more camber.

DONT WORRY GUYS THE PURPLE WHEEL NUTS SHOULD BE HERE NEXT WEEK!

Car looks great with those wheels. I just wished they didn't have so much spoke poke  . Otherwise I would have me a set!

Nope apparently they have the same face. Backspacing is shaved down to change the offset. I'd still prefer to kerb lip then to kerb spoke :P

Ouch! That one stung  . Left myself open to it. Haven't kerbed my rims before. Though I would cry if I did..

Car is looking great.

I had a read, and didn't find anyone mention what brand/make the wheels are? Rota, Volk?

Cheers, really like those wheels.

I have a white na8, and are looking for some bronze wheels, so these could be an option.

Do you have any idea what they weight?
