Thanks, it's far from clean IRL though.

I have an ebay guard roller. Removed front fender liners, emptied about 4kg's of dirt from the fenders, scrubbed back the inside of the lip I was going to roll, got it toasty with the heat gun and went at it.

Fronts cracked and flaked a bit (it's got the crappy early undercoat failure symptoms), but got the rears rolled flat with hardly a single crack.

Still need to even out ride heights left-to-right (I don't mind how the rake looks for now), gotta reinstall the splash guard and then have a play with damping settings.

As it is, it's as comfy as stock which is exactly what I want!

Small update, got my Runabout mirrors (refreshing to receive something of outstanding quality for once) and installed em.

Swapped out the warped front rotors and wonky old pads for some RDA slotted rotors and some EBC greenstuff pads, waiting on braided brake lines and new rear discs too.

Installed my Nardi steering wheel too, had to modify the cheapo boss kit I bought off ebay, but not before the seller gave me a full refund which was cool!

I've been tempted to ordering some new rego plates but can't decide on what to get. Whether to get the original rego changed to B&W with one slimline/one normal size, or to get NA-641, NA-642, NA-666 etc.
The latter is more expensive buy about $200 which is slowing me down. Help me decide!

Oh and also I think I've probably avoided a speeding fine or two because of the rear numberplate :D

Few new additions to the car.

DBA slotted rotors and EBC greenstuff pads for the front, a BD rollbar, cocomats and new numberplates.

I'm mostly happy with how it looks now. I need to touch up some paint and get a new r/h indicator (i'll probably end up with those tinted ebay jobs)
Need to play with the ride heights a bit more (wouldn't mind a different pair of coilovers for the rear to get it lower) and get a wheel alignment next week.

So yeah.

Was really good to meet a few people at Garage Cafe last night, putting faces to names is always really cool.

thanks dude.

i actually did some stuff today and figured i'd need photographic proof, plus the pics help little projects snowball into others (hopefully i'll start working on cleaning up the bay after this)

busted vs. new, there was zero oil in the old one...
Image

done! need to get a few more o-rings and replace the dryer too, then time for a re-gas.
Image

then this may or may not have happened...

also known as "drive less, buy more"

i have new wheels on the way that should be here in 4 or 5 weeks, they'll be getting a full resto before i roll on them.

my interior is currently like this +/- the seat when i feel like it
Image

and the exterior is currently like this (with a sticker holding my paint together)
Image
the echo tunnel by Jace B., on Flickr

in the last week i've replaced the clutch master and clutch slave cylinders, and also installed an intake (and tidied up the bay a bit too)

Image

my clutch is now dead or very close to it, probably thanks to me driving around at WOT a lot more because of the intake. (i'm surprised it lasted this long tbh, i think it's the factory clutch)
i'll do some painting before the weather turns to sh*t and fix up the worst patches of paint, but i'll replace the clutch first - probably next weekend if i can make it last til then.

yeah, happy motoring.
