Stock, can't tell if it's a series 1 or 2 bar (difft headlights). But you will be using fake lights anyway?

hmm.... I havent checked if the headlights fit..... nah I wasnt going to use fake headlights, just just going to stick the real ones in.....
Now I have another question.... It is a 1999 model and one of the classes I am looking at competing in say its for cars that are 2002 and newer (in appearance)
Is there anything different between my car and a 2002 (except my 10th anniversary badges) that I would need to change to be eligible to say it is a 2002 model (vin numbers etc dont matter to say it is really a 1999 model)

You can get away with NB8A lights on that bar (there's a slight gap on the inside), I vote cut a big circle out of the front out of one of them and remove the back part, use it to funnel air into your intake.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Thats exactly what we were thinking of doing on the passenger side

Such a small world.
This build is looking impressive.
Good to see this in progress, can't wait to see the end result.

Front bar (you've already got a late model one)
headlights (NB8B had projectors, 8A reflectors, need a keen eye to spot the difference)
tail lights (8A had orange indicators, 8B had clear)
I think that's the only external differences, the rest are either mechanical, or interior, and you're pretty much doing those from scratch.
Brillaint build though! looks amazing.
