Haha. Many years ago I was driving home from a foam party on new years eve. Back then I had a turbo series 2 rx7.
Due to saturation, I was wearing nothing but my undies and a spare t-shirt I happened to have in the boot.
Ended up stopping at maccas for a feed and due to lack of clothing hit up the drive-thru. Was only after that I realised the girl serving me copped an eye full.
On the way home I kept praying I wouldn't get pulled over. Was the slowest drive of my life

Re: Cus' NA6
I've been playing with the camera again....
50mm, f/2.0, 10 photos stitched into a single shot.
Scaled down 25% from the original: quater size
The local printing place has given me a quote of $50/sq meter to get photos printed. Me being me, I'd like to know how far I can push it. If the full version of this got printed out it would be 1 meter high and 2 meters wide and you could taste the bugs on the bumper bar. I'd get a different one printed though, of maybe a clean car....
I'd wash the car, but if you've got time to wash it, you've got time to drive it!

You can always wash it with bug-remover in Photoshop by Adobé.

Apparently it's also faster when you drive it. I wouldn't know

Faster when dríven .
When I reverse Geoff out of the garage he's always a bit dusty. I look at the hose right next to the driveway, look at Geoff, look at the hose, get in Geoff and drive off .
The dust will blow off anyway
He may live in a garage, but he's not treated like a garage queen

Little red has no dust, we've been having afternoon showers pretty much every day for a month.
Right now it is both sunny, and raining, and it needs to piss off so I can go back to being upside down under the dash working out what the new rattle is!

That'll take longer than actually washing it (with my PS skills at least)droo wrote:You can always wash it with bug-remover in Photoshop by Adobé.
Want me to bring little red up so you can drive it around the block and remind yourself what it's like? How is your build going, I dropped by your thread and only saw tumbleweeds! I don't know what you've been doing, but I'm going to assume it's the wrong thing (ie; not installing a turbo)speed wrote:Apparently it's also faster when you drive it. I wouldn't know
Naahhh! The bugs help with non-laminar airflow, thus reducing drag and increasing speed, it's basically free horsepower!!StanTheMan wrote:Its faster when its been washed

Yes, please come up every day for the next week or so
Been working on the house in my spare time and contstantly being bent over at work. It's rather uncomfortable and far from my preference.
Plan to stop the house renos in early November and rip out my engine.
After that I can blow out the tumble weeds.. from my build thread

Reno's are fun when it's someone else's house lol it took four of us an afternoon to completely gut my sister's kitchen a few years ago, and about a month to build a working kitchen in it's place - and I got to learn how to tile, that was fun.
I've got to rescind my off of red-roadster drives though, turns out I've gone and got myself a full time job starting monday, pretty stoked about that!

Re: Cus' NA6
Today I discovered that the i30s at work are faster than an MX5, by a nontrivial amount.
The corollas are also faster. Basically every car in work's fleet is faster than my MX5.
I'd be disappointed, but I'll have a corolla "soon".
Fun fact: The green magna I had when I bought little red used to belong to the business that got bought out by the company where I currently work; so technically it's my second company car at the same business, except this time they'll be paying me to drive it! (The magna had a few owners in between too, i got it non-running for $300)

Re: Cus' NA6
they might be faster on the traffic F1. So are a lot of SUV's
most likely not around a long series of corners unless the nutter driving is is totally insane.
NA6 has around 65 killer wasps at the rear give or take a few in standard form. its also up to 27 years old. It was also underpowerd when it came out in 1989. That's where the tag of hair dressers car comes from. Thats why it needs a hair dryer. To go with the associated tag as a hair dressers car to really drive home the point.
