Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
I don't think I can pull off that offset, if I go any lower I wont be able to get into the work carpark. So for the time being the Enkei's are back on, ill be looking for some 17x9 RPF1's but in the +45 offset
MY07 NC, Mazdaspeed Body, Ohlins, Full GWR Exhaust, 17x9 RPF1's, 4.1FGR and lots lots more

Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
absolutely nothing has happened the last few weeks...which is kind of a change.
I did however head to Wakefield yesterday for a GEAR day (Golden Era Auto Racing) in my uncles 83 Lola Formula Ford
here is a video of some track action

Bummer!!!
Changed mine at 127k when the nylon g'box bush broke. It had at least another 40k left in it.
Better get cracking if you are going to make EC on Sunday.

Hey Regie,
It was nice meeting you on Saturday. Are you still thinking of doing a group buy for the gearbox oil? I'd be interested if you are.

Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
Spent 2 days without the car, while it was a Deckers getting a new clutch installed
It went pop at Wakefield on Tuesday
I did manage a new PB with my KU31's of a 1.13.2 on my mates PBox
Heres some pics of the shreaded clutch
No clutch material left at all

Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
Headlight Mod Volume 2
Over on the big forum, there was a NC driver which had done a full RX8 HID retrofit. So I jumped on EBay and picked up a set of smashed RX8 headlights for a measley sum. As I only wanted the HID projector assy I wasn't worried about the smashed lense.
Here is a comparison between the standard H7 reflector and shield vs the RX8 HID setup
Halogen on the left and HID on the right

They screw straight into the standard MX5 light. This is nearly up the top of the best mod to do list.
While I was at it I jumped on The Retrofit Source store in the states and ordered some Clear lenses, a set AMP > D2S bulb adaptors and some Osram D2S Bulbs (what Mercedes and BMW use).
I also cut the orange reflector things off the indicator and got some "chrome" orange bulbs...looks soo much cleaner
Here is the finished assembly, night pics will be posted next week when the Osram globes are installed
