Freaked out because I was going to be late.
Bought the wrong nuts & bolts.
Freaked out more.
Locked myself out of the house.
Continued freaking out.
Borrowed a screwdriver off a neighbour so I could unscrew the window flyscreens.
Found my keys.

Mad dash to the Lego.

Played with lego, built the biggest single-colour pyramid in a 10 minute "build-off". We - My sister, her husband and I - accidentally got a little bit competitive, the niece was bringing us pocket fulls of bricks, and the nephew was using the bricks to build something entirely different... but we destroyed those other kids, and won .... nothing at all. haha It was serious business!

It ended up being an awesome day!

You know exactly what I mean.
I really enjoy your stories, probably because I can relate to them.

Your nephew is going to be a wild card.. legend! :)

Spark plugs.

I've been reading about what spark plugs I should use now that I'm turboed and on COP's.

The concensus was to go for BKR7E and gap them between 0.81 to 0.889mm.

So I picked up the new plugs and gapped them at 0.85mm.

Hopefully that does the job.

One more sleep till drop off and 2 more sleeps until I drove home tuned :)

Thanks Stan,

I've been on the look out for a proper roll bar since I sold the polished mazdaspeed bar.

Had to find one that suited my NB soft top.

Will put in the new plugs today and drop the car off.

Am itching to see what the car drives like on a proper tune with more boost.

At the moment it feels like 105/110kw, so the difference should be vast in comparison.

Haha.

Was going to text you about spark plugs. If you're still running bkr6e with 1mm gap, you should switch to bkr7e and gap them down. 9mm will probably suit since you're not running much boost.

Also, what settings do you use on your yellowspeeds? They recommend 12 clicks out from soft for front and 8 clicks for rears for standard.
I find the rears way to bouncy at those settings.

Cheers.

it will be fine, with all the hard work, meticulous preparation and research you have done i have no doubt that it will show in the results both on the dyno and behind the wheel. :D

The dyno readings are only numbers
You must enjoy the way the car drives
I've only got 128kw @ the wheels
I love the way it drives
Like a stock standard mx5 with double the power
You don't want a lag monster
It's the smile it puts on your face
That's the smile dyno
