It's getting pretty close now!
Jason at Automotive Plus is making up the turbo lines for me. Left to right is coolant feed (-6), oil feed (-4), coolant return (-6) and oil return (-10):
Banjo fittings on block showing coolant and oil feeds (top to bottom):
Modified heater hard line to move coolant return (-6):
I like the fire sleeve he has used over the braid. Hopefully this is the right formula for maintenance free lines!

As you can see, there's tidying up to do. I'm just running the thing for a week or so to make sure nothing leaks and it behaves itself. Then I'll get the charge pipes powder coated and fix up the vac line and EGT probes.
I have a Koyo Hyper V radiator coming any day now, so hopefully I can throw that in while the pipes are off getting done.
First impressions of this turbo - DAT RESPONSE! I have no preload at all on the gate, solenoid isn't plugged in and I'm running the low boost actuator. If I breathe on the throttle it sounds like a jet turbine and goes straight to 100kPa (absolute), then with a tiny bit more throttle it will hit 150kPa effortlessly.
This thing is going to be an absolute beast when it is dialled in with EBC!

I can't remember the cost of the lines because I had a few things going on at the same time. Those are EGT probes yeah, for the low cost of the probes it was an easy decision.
Finally got rid of the factory SE rear muffler, replaced with a Magnaflow 12286 which is surprisingly quiet:
Koyo Hyper V radiator is in, and the pipes are now powdercoated:
Added relief cuts to the flange on the head and coated in something with less bling:
I've been driving this car to work for the last week and everything seems to behave itself.
Plan from now on is less fiddling, more driving.

This has been a decision a long time in the making but I decided to sell the car, it will be missed but I've had a blast over the years and met lots of awesome people in MX-5 circles.

Engine overhaul done July 2014:
Engine removed from a 2004 SE, which was then rebuilt by Automotive Plus:
Rebuilt head with new valve stem seals, valve reseat & pressure test
Block machined 1mm over
CP forged pistons
Eagle H beam rods
ACL bearings
New water pump
Uprated oil pump
All new bearings, seals, gaskets and hoses
ARP fasteners
Brand new genuine harmonic balancer
Rotating assembly balanced (all components separately then together)
Other modifications (not an exhaustive list):
Borg Warner EFR 6258 turbo
Custom stainless steampipe manifold
3" dump pipe transitioning to a 2.5" exhaust with 200 cell steel cat and Magnaflow rear muffler
All water/oil lines Speedflow with fireproof braid
Injector Dynamics ID725 injectors
