I promised Stuart I wouldn't tell anyone, but I saw the car a few hours before the photos above were taken and think that you should all see what it looked like before when he went crazy with the plasti-dip, think of this as a public-service announcement about the potential evils/addictiveness of "plasti-dip":

After the "plasti-dip high" from the spray cans had worn off, he realised that he'd gone overboard and he stripped it right back.

Hey Stu, do you have any oil temp comparisons from before and after the oil cooler install?

Cheers

mm not specifically, no digital guage, just analogue, but i did run with the oil temp guage only for couple of weeks before fitting the cooler.
I estimate 5 deg drop. I imagine would be higher if in a higher air flow location like 'Lokels' with his ducting.
Maxed out at 110 yesterday
I dont run an oil thermostat, definitely takes longer to warm up in winter.

QR Clubman Circuit
As seen by iphone and Harrys Lap Timer Pro
(seems pretty close to my recolection of the odd glance at the tacho and speedo, my scanguage showed max straight speed of 172 kph on the day, but that may be a littel farther down the straight than the gps point)
Maximum Lateral G -0.77
Maximum Lineal G (braking) -1.08
Speeds at GPS Waypoints
Pit Straight 163 kph (5th)
Turn 1 125 kph (4th)
Short Straight 144 kph (4th)
Turn 2 119 kph (4th)
Turn 3 Approach 137 kph (4th)
Turn 3 69 kph (3rd)
Turn 4 85 kph (3rd)
Turn 5 75 kph (3rd)
Turn 6 Approach 154 kph (5th)
Turn 6 76 kph (3rd)
Average lap speed 120 kph

Thanks Charlie, sorry your car was playing up.
I do seem to struggle with oversteer around the top of eastern loop.
4th gear and over 120kph getting the ass hanging out probably hurts my times, and my Butt from clenching so hard!
I have the front sway on full hard - 1.125" RB.
Front dampers on full hard - rears on 6 from hard.
Very happy overall with how it went, and felt, but rear grip over the top there is a struggle.

Here is one from my iPhone - not bad result actually
Bit of traffic to contend with - incl a charlie91 in limp mode, and Dean or Rob spun off at Eastern Loop lol
