Im thinking about ordering a new aluminium radiator, the original one is looking a little cracked where the top hose connects. Also might as well get some new swaybars :)

This timing belt seems to be going better than i thought.

its beer oclock, ill do water pump in the morning, then its put back together time

the water pumps seems as though it has been leaking a tad. The front of the block it white :) haha

i shall be picking up a Cooling Pro radiator tomorrow also

Nah, you only need duct tape and WD40.

If it moves, and it shouldn't, use duct tape. If it doesn't move, and it should, use WD40.

You can trust us Regie, we'll have her fixed in a jiffy :P

1st June.

Project timing belt continued

woke up nice and early this morning, first thing was to replace the water pump and gaskets. not a bad job at all.

The back was sore by the end of it though, so i thought i would head down to Just Jap and pick up my new cooling pro radiator...man this core is like 3 times the thickness of the std radiator :D i like!

next was the oil seals. I only did the crank and the exhaust cam oil seals. The timing kit i bought didnt have the correct seal for the VVT inlet cam. A quick call to Mania and it should be here tomorrow along with a new thermostat and gasket.

I also painted the rocker cover with that wrinkle finish paint.. i think the black will look good with all the polished bits in my engine bay :)
