not heard from you since I send you a p/m 6 months ago - I thought you were lost in transit! :lol:

there's been a few changes over the past few months. I only regret one move - riding that stupid pushbike :lol:

not 100% sure yet on that filthy fiat :lol:

the lotus well...even if I had it now I still couldn't drive it as I had the re-occurring back problem again and up until a few days ago - not in a car for weeks.
I might try out the red SE in a day or so and give it a run. probably been about 3 months since I last drove it.
when the warm weather arrives I think I will have to seriously think on my idea of a colour change back to the artic white before my back cans this idea totally!

Hey mate sorry to hear your back is still so bad! As you know I did mine about five years ago, but apart from some permanent low level pain these days it's pretty good and doesn't stop me doing much as long as I exercise and keep mobile. Have you fixed those tiny doors into the bird cages yet? Those cages look harder to get in and out of than the Lotus and wouldn't help!

Interesting choice of replacement for the Lotus! Looks "cute". Shame the Lotus has gone though, had hoped to get up there and bum a drive sometime!! :mrgreen:

I honestly don't miss the lotus. it was a more of a young and foolish purchase and i'm more mature now and a few months older too :lol:

I don't drive the FIAT out much either.
to tell it bluntly I am actually a bit afraid I might get car jacked. most people don't know what it is.......small exotic etc and under those circumstances it could end in trouble and I could end up with more than a sore back. although rear entry is good....so too in the car :lol:

I still have the red one...'japcrap' and the other 'found in a tip' so overall doing pretty good :lol:

there is another 'mullet gut' or the mgf but its a bit touchy so I have to tread careful with it :roll:

I have not been in the SE for close on 2 months so today I gave it a bit of a burst along a back road which eventually turned to dirt. I had the FF or "filthy fiat" along the same road last week.
on a burst to the old scale ton mark surprisingly the fiat is really not that far behind. very close indeed.
in a week or so time I think I might take it on a short 4 day run into qld and back through lightning ridge and probably a way more comfortable ride too

on a more positive not the SE is far better to sit in and drive than the departed lotus :lol:
