Jacky, you might not need a new master cylinder as it possibly could just require a new seal kit.
Any auto stores such as Repco, Bursons, Supercheap etc will supply a new one, but so will any brake repair shop, & probably at a better price.

The best tip I can give you for track driving is get a race seat & harness. Cheers

Brake Leak - Fixed
I handed this one off to Warringah Brake + Clutch.
It was leaking from the brake booster so they put in new seals. Rear caliper too, so those were replaced too.

Car not starting - Fixed
One day from work, I cranked the car. No fire. Immediately, I tried again and it fired up. I drove home.
Later that day I wanted to go out for dinner. My car didn't want to go out to dinner with me. Cranks but no fire.
First thought was fuel pump. So I ordered a GOSS fuel pump and a set of NGK spark plugs from Super Cheap Auto.
Still no start. So I looked for advice and found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3QjnMzcZTc. This sounded like my car so I got a Camshaft Position Sensor from MX5 Mania for $60.
That went in and still no success. I checked the fuel pump once again. Found that the hose wasn't pumping fuel out. I used a circuit test light and traced the harness to the fuel pump. There was no indication of power on the inside of the fuel pump assembly. But from the outside, there was power.
I took a closer look at the inner harness and found this. https://imgur.com/a/e3Mbq
Got a used fuel pump assembly from MX5 Mania. Installed it and the car started right up.
Happy days.

If I only bought one item for a standard car that was going on track it would be a roll bar. You were a lucky boy suffering a brake system failure with no consequences.

Daily'd the MX5 for another 3.5 months. Not a single hiccup.
During the hot days, the air con would be quite weak. Scheduled in for a regas early April.

Meanwhile... It's up for sale.

If it doesn't sell for the price I want, I will renew rego, mod it and keep it.
ANZAC day is my deadline.
