well you've got one good car out of the four. the mazda I don't think any-one will pay any really good or stupid money - the buick hard to sayabout it and the xc coupe -they were never any good when they were new but I will say one thing I am very impressed by your mustang. I have always liked them actually had 3 and that was when it mean something to own a mustang in Australia in the late 60's/70 - not now -there everywhere -but not yours
ive had some good stuff too xygt -rt charger and gts monaro ht vg pacer Bathurst trac car so I know my cars...lol and I will tell you all - none of these old cars are worth owning and I estimated I have spend well over 1 million SSSS on the heaps of sh*t!
plus I have a really crook baack...LOL

Obviously have a thing for red coupes!
Looks in really good nick, really low Kay's as well.
It's hard to say how much it's worth, although it's a piece of history, tastes in aftermarket body kits etc. have changed a lot over the past 20 something years.

If originally fitted, it will be the Viscous LSD as opposed to the TorSen LSD.
How much is it worth? Supply = limited in the extreme. Demand = ?
To give you an idea, the following 1992 NA6 with only 39k kms has been for sale for about 6 weeks & they want $16k:

Re: Genuine 1993 Rod Millen MX5 only 1 of 2 Australian issue
i think that Na6 is reasonably priced considering the low kms..but its not a Rod millen L/Edition nor is it sporty,, or a head turner.. Anyhows about 6 yrs ago i took my daughter to a few car Yards when car shopping for her ..one of the dealers walked over to my Millen MX5 & offered me $18500 that was with the roof top up & the speedster tonneau cover left at home. Anyways,, A friend of mine calls it the " Barbie car " & going thru Hungry jacks drive thru with him is a real treat ..he puts on his gay princess voice when ordering & that can be Quite embarrassing.. !!

People want originality.
Rod Millen has no following (think Brock), and really not.much value. Kits detract from an original car.

Millen has huge following, perhaps not in your postcode.

Re: Genuine 1993 Rod Millen MX5 only 1 of 2 Australian issue
I guess the point is,
If you took the complete kit & put it on another car. Weather or not it would make a difference. As in is the cassis number registered as a car with the kit. Or special edition.
With all the limited editions. & special editions you can ring up Mazda & see if it is one of those editions.
The car itself looks great. Millen kit or not.
The millen kit will have some difference for sure. But unless it is an official edition like the V special, clubman, Malibu & so on. It's not really in the same category as those editions.
For sure there will be enthusiasts who would love to get thier hands on the signature. It's hard to put a value on it though.

Re: Genuine 1993 Rod Millen MX5 only 1 of 2 Australian issue
And if you ring up Mazda and they tell you it's a rod millen 1 of 2 OMFG!!!!!!
But most likely the dealer got 2 cars done at the time or in a short period of time. Took a standard NA6 over to somewhere. Had all the bits delivered & installed.
Difference being if it's official from either Rod millen or Mazda and it is traceable via the cases number.that would be worth a good chunk.
But if it's just a standard NA6 with some added nice bits from the dealer. Mehhhh next.
