So I was looking at buying some Bride rails from Japan but thankfully my mate with an NB said you can bolt side mounts straight onto the MX5's stock rails, so that saved me a couple hundred dollars. I went and found some mounts for $30 and attached them to the rails and it was all well and good until I mounted it in the car to only realise the seat is like 30-40mm offset to the steering wheel and because of this, the shoulder of the seat now hits the door when I close it. I realised it was the seatbelt mount stopping me from mounting the seat more to the middle, so I grinded off the spacers welded onto the seatbelt bracket which gave me about 15mm of room. After some playing around and man power trying to get the floor mounts to line up, it's in and very snug - not perfect, but it will do.

Looking at getting brakes soon because well stock ones aren't the best.
All I'm doing is driving through the hills and I can feel they fade a fair bit and I want to stop quicker because you never know when a koala might me around the bend.
I will also may be using the car for hillclimbs etc.

I'm looking at getting these because they're on sale atm and i'm thinking of getting the Bendix Ultimate's.. thoughts?

Pads - go A1RM's or Winmax W3's do not go Bendix. My opinion though.

Try the pads first then changing the brakes. Pads will go a long way to improving the brake performance.

X2 for the QFM A1RM pads. Had them in my nb for a while now and love them. Had the Hawk HP+ in before that, while they provided a bit more initial bite, they were alot more dusty and became extremely noisy with everyday driving.

Braided brake lines, good brake fluid and good pads go a long way to improving your braking. Or better still if you want a cheap upgrade, get some NB8B brakes and fit those. Huge stopping power for such a small light car. Only downside is you will need wheels that fit over the NB8B brakes.

Alright, was just looking at rotors because mine all have lips on them from previous owners so should I buy slotted or just get oem again?
Also where can I get the QFM ones? Did a quick eBay search and only comes up with the NA8 ones not NA6.

OEM rotors, however they may still be machined, depending on the thickness.

+1 for nb8b brakes up front. That's what I'll be doing. I wasted money on stock na6 discs when I could have spent little more for bigger.
Speed freak, im hoping they fit under 15 x 7.5, fingers crossed... If they don't fit, the choice is easy :)

They should do, I think it comes down to the offset or the design of the spokes or something. Quit a few fit that I know of but for instance the 15" RPF1 dont.

So I have found some QFM pads and will purchase them soon aswell as rotors but I just found some Takama CMR Front and Rear Swaybars for $160 on Yahoo Auctions in Japland and according to the internets they are SUPER DUPER rare aswell as buying a Blitz intake for that dooorp, so they should arrive in 2-4 weeks.
