Small Update

Got my hands on some Mazdaspeed Side Skirts

Image

I've had a lot of inspiration from RevLimiter's Sharka build and I loved the retro Mazda badge he bought. After I searched the internet high and low I couldn't find a badge that I liked. So I went back to the Sharka build to see where he got his from. Found one in the US and It arrived yesterday.

As I'm a wheel whore,i ordered a new set of wheels. Traklite Apex 15x8.25j ET20 weight 8kg each

Looking forward to the results, have you moved the battery? Oh, and no more parking opposite the neighbor with the lazy neck! :)

Love those wheels! They will go very well with the purple!

Colour is looking good! Look forward to seeing the whole car in the sunlight to show the true tones of the new paint!

Really nothing more to add than what's already been said in the last few posts.

Moving the battery back to the boot is on the to-do list :)

Good, It would be the last thing that you ever saw in a major collision and there is the fire risk etc.
Now I sound like the grumpy Uncle.

I just don't understand why the previous owner put it there in the first place, such an odd thing to do?

Car's shaping up well, the purple on the bar looks great.
I think though that the gold on the wheels may be a bit bright for it, I think they might work in a bit better with the colour if they were closer to a bronze colour.
