Things are finally back together. Shannon's and Hume bodyworks were excellent - car has never looked better. Racingbeat bumper not as good a fit where it meets the waistline as the aerotech and not as agressive looking as the NZ job either.

My overflow tank suddenly went all crazy and was about to shatter so added a bit more bling - a lot neater in my opinion and with the bigger radiator shouldnt have overheating problems.

The torsen was a success to with no more bearing noise on overun. So it wasnt the layshaft I originally thought.

Went into the guts last week to fix bellhousing oil leak. Turned out to be front gearbox seal. It was only 23000 k's ago that I put clutch and crank oil seal in so It was my fault that I didnt do it properly then!

While I was in there I put in the re route I bought on fleabay.

Also swapped clutch for an SE with flywheel lightened to 1.6 weight (had the ring removed).

Back in town and back on the job! I finally gave my cheap extractors some support with a gearbox bracket:

You would only attempt this if you were retired, to much time on your hands or just plain stoopid! I fit all catergories! You need a set of clear taillights and NC ones. I'm going to say no more as I dont want anyone alse to waste their precious time.

Really not worth the effort ....as my better half said why not just buy an NC! She does'nt get it!

I get it. I think it looks good. Far better than the "altezza" style aftermarket ones

All started when I got some NC lights off ebay (the guy selling them said they would fit an NA also - I knew they wouldnt) for a song then went looking for clear tail lights. Got some from Emily_MX5. Put them together with windscreen sealant then connected the NA/NC lampholders so I could easily remove them. As I said no more info as its just too hard/time consuming.

I guess you need to re-mod the rear panel isn't it? Sure it cost time but like you said its worth it. Really stand out really different.

Very clever tail lights trader. I like that clear lights and chrome look you have going on with the car. Got any speeding tickets lately? If you have installed the AWD (200km/h) faces on your Australian (220km/h) speedo the car will be traveling faster than the speedo tells you. Easiest fix is getting a second hand Eunos (180km/h) speedo on eBay which will suit that face.

Thanks MalibuQ. I tried that but didnt seem to make much difference so I just moved the speedo needle (doing about 18 K.s when I'm standing still)!
