lol.

i'm not sure whether he will like the sound of his underbody scraping...

it gives me a sharp pain in the heart (literally) every time i hear that happen to my car.

had to raise it half a centimetre today... you can now fit in 2 fingers between wheel and guard

i dont either, but you cant beat killer stance.

if the road has indents and the middle section is the normal height, i'll get beached, or throw a spark shower.

Go hard or go home mike!

haha, hope the stance can be improved once I in bung in the coilovers. Sliq's right, underbody scrapes make me cringe and don't wanna particularly lose the GV lip! ...but... willing to go another inch lower for the sake of awesomeness!

Which coilovers are you going with?

i like the way you think.

get some coils, and some 205/50 tyres and you'll be right, they will fill the guards up that little bit more.

I can reccomend Tein and D2/G4.

Tein are top notch, great quality coilovers, and now with the "basic" coilover just released in Australia, which features height adjustablity for only $1000!

I had superstreets, which feature 16 way damping and the same height adjustment as the basics.

Only reason i ditched them was because they didnt achieve the stance i wanted, thus i went for the G4 racing coilovers for ultimate slammage.

I guess those mirrors cover up the original holes (I can't remember if there's only one or two holes?).
Admit it, rear visibility is pretty crap with them.

Yup - the vision is pretty crappy from those mirrors. Need to tilt my head slightly to see through the drivers side mirror and the passenger side is all for show!....Well it's a sacrifice I'm willing to take for the awesome retro looks.

I had a mate of mine fabricate a special custom aluminium adapter plate that sits over the two factory holes (no drill required) with a locating stub. A grub screw was then drilled into the underside to lock the mirror in place onto the locating stub.

does anyone know a good supplier of Tein Coilovers? - I'm after the best price for supersteets. Gotta acheive that perfect stance!
