Hey name is Michael and just thought i'd show you my beast. Its a 01 NB8B bought it in feb 02.!

Love the work! Can you give me an idea on the cost of this all up? I'm looking at finally buying at the end of this year, or early next - and I'm aiming straight for an NB8B (no cosmetic work to be done initially!), but I'm after achieving the magic 149.2 rwkw/200BHp via turbocharged means, plaus the usual handling and stopping upgrades of course.

Yo Bruce used the manifold and dump pipe but ive used a brand new garrett turbo not sure what happened to the original one.

Not a hundred percent sure which state the owner was from or which state the car came from but i wouldn't be suprised. i think the motor and gearbox is still around

Looks like a great build.

Interesting that daniel has taken the SE approach as far as IC piping is concerned, although charge pipe doesnt run over airbox. Daniel does nice work, he always seem's to have a project going on, he knows our 5s well.

Its the SMB piggyback designed by a masters student for his thiesis. Unfortuantly the designer who is relatively young has been diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer.

im the one that told sledgehammer to go to daniel for parts @ 1st & then it all started from there... they got to work on it...

all i can say this thing is a machine
i drove it last night around the area it goes like a bullet & stops in a second

the craft man ship that daniel has done is amazing the nicest engine bay i have seen for a turbo set up
& the ecu that walter has designed is a1 the things you can do with it is amazing with in the software.

i have to say these to guys daniel & walter have opened my eyes up about cars & motors as they have helped me out alot with my car & the problem of my ecu resetting ( thats a another story ends up being my factory ecu crack on the main bored. how dont know? ) As well as doing some engine work to my NB

& i cant stress how much if you need engine work or anything done to your car Daniels the man

it's by far the best streeted turbo set up dad has done.

But you've also put all the other necessary good bits on her... TIENs, AP brake kit, its sensational, i've got to save up so when i get off my p's (when i get them back) i can maybe convince dad to do my car lol

Didnt mention running pwr radiator and custom made intercooler. When designing the intercooler i couldn't stress enough that i didnt want to hack at the car so no cutting or chopping of the bar/supports was done and all air dam undertray were keep in place. This restricted me in a cooler no longer than 600mm with a max height of 180mm and a width of 70mm and the outcome

cooling pro make a 550x140x65mm intercooler, this is what i will be using, and it fits perfect!

allwell, looks like a good build, sarkis has told be alot about this car.
