Looks great Lochie!

I agree with your comments about big wheels.

Crying shame about your old man selling off all those parts.

Y not enter this one into the Motorkhanas? (ref other thread) Another set of wheels/tyres and it would surely be a better option than the Gemini you mentioned - then again - I don't need more competition. :-)

yeh i still might put it in the gymkhana, I need some 15's though, Allan Weber said he has some 14 stockies for sale soon but i Really want 15's cos we have old sets of 888's and some bridgestones which i can just burn ! The gemini is sooo much fun though with a locker and heaps of power and torque.. I see how I go.

New heavy duty clutch planning to go in soon. got a quote from All Clutch and Brake for $540 installed which sounds quite reasonable ;) Cheers for the Welcome

Emeseey..

Looks nice. How low is the MX5?

Hey Re: your father Peter Emes. Or should i say as me and my mate know him 'Peter Emes, the burn out king'. The story goes.. we were at collingrove. He was in the yellow MX5 waiting his turn when someone a few cars back decided to warm his tyres up prematurely. Needless to say there was a message over the load speaker blaming him for doing it. If i can remember i think he got kicked out the line. Ever since myself and friend have refered to him as 'Peter Emes, the burn out king...' It was funny at the time.

The mx5 is stock height with stock suspension, it does sit a bit higher as the rolling circumference is a bit larger with the 17's. I just dropped it on photo shop to see what it would look like if i was a member of the just commohoares crew ;) !

hahaha, sure does sound like the old man.. 'Peter Emes the burnout king'... he sure does like his Collingrove, It sure is funny when other drivers come up to me and say 'hey did you see that idiot indicating at every corner on the track!' or 'hey who was that clown playing Chuck Berry full blast during his run?' I didn't really discover him as the burnout king until one time at Collingrove we changed a few tyres on the burnout pad during the race meet (like you are suppose to) and the old man decided to use the snake pit for other things such as changing tyres haha what an idiot. I hope I have as many loose screws as he does, top bloke :)

You must be a bit pissed about the wheels that your dad sold a while back... At least two sets of wider, lower offset 15's just like you're looking for now. I bought the Buddyclub P1s.

Car looks clean, congrats.

Was the yellow race car part owned by Arthur Shizas? He has photos of a Malibu NA6 race car in his office and I can't imagine there would be tooo many of them around

One of my mates friends has some 15" light weights for sale so I'm going to go and try them on Friday... hopefully they will fit ;) Yes the car was part owned by Arthur, hes a good bloke.. My dad is even getting a gold crown done by him in a few weeks ;)
