Seats look fantastic too really suits the interior trim. Great work

Thanks for the kind words. I currently have an SMB exhaust at home but I'm going to see which sounds better. The Megan Racing definitely looks better. I'll keep you posted.

.. aww, don't i get dibs on all your second hand parts first, meanmx?
SMB? getting all ready for turbo eh? :)

nice seats.. they do look pretty comfy. what's next?

You did get first dibs but then you always turn me down. Something about my bits being to masculine for you  Besides which you are on your way to building an SE and I didn't want to tempt you to take off your SE exhaust.

Forgot to mention as well that this car has won it's first trophy today at the MCCA Open Day for best Mazda Piston.

Also the cat seems to be coming out of the bag so this is my next project. I'm going to take my time with this as there is no rush.

Haha, I'm about done SE-ing my car, unless I do decide to switch to a real SE  the SE exhaust is just for thrills since I got it on a cheap. Looking for a proper set soon. Say, I've finally gotten my Teins, got to organise a dodgy day soon

What award is Best Pistons for anyway?

If I was after a road mx5 I would want mine to look the same. 2nd favourite looking MX5 to Brendan's.

Thanks mate. Which is Brendan's car? Sounds like it could be interesting. Or is that the SR20 one?

This is Brendan's car. I may be a bit impartial as it has a lightyear fastback, bonnet and boot. And door trims... But I do like the look of the black and carbon fibre against the white paint.

It's been a while since I last updated my thread and for good reason.......I haven't done anything  . So recently when I was at the Mazda car show there were a couple of very tidy mid 80's 929's there. I really wanted one of these back in the mid 90's and these beautiful cars bought it all back. So it turns out that both these owners got their cars for sub $1000 and because they are old enough to be on club reg, makes it a very cheap, unique cruiser. So I bought one :D . I think I may have been a little impatient buying one as it's not the best example, nevertheless I like it. I look forward to going on the Mazda Car Club of Australia cruises with the family and keeping another old Mazda alive.
