No, I never actually did a "Crossing the line" ceremony.

I got back from holidays last night to find my new compressed air line filter has arrived. It took a while from the USA but save a bundle of $$$$, & I was away anyway. Work will recommence soon.

Yeah Stan, Amazon. $160 landed as opposed to $270 local. I like to support local when I can,but not at that cost.

Ah nice try Mark, but you’ll not a commitment out of me yet. Too early to call.

Haha good one B.B.

You use one of those don’t you? Is it best to fit it as close to compressor as possible or midway along the airline?

I could have told you about it OR you could have told me

jokes aside I hang mine 2 metres above the compressor. just took you a photo. I could have tidied it up a bit but I thought i'd shoot it in its natural habitat

could be a problem as she has to help me cut seeding grasses for the birds  and I require help

don't forget to run your compressor for 10 or 15 seconds and turn off. then-undo the tap underneath and let the air or water blow out -that's less moisture to travel up the hose. either way you look at it that filter will be well worth the investment
mine was pretty damp from the spray job . I would probably remove the hard type roll it comes with and replace it with a good quality toilet roll-maybe sorbent  either way I thought the toilet roll collect the moisture better than the harder type roll it comes with.
so far on this spray - not a single droplet of water has come out the gun and at times I have witnessed mini streams with those poor quality water trap crap
