Hi Okibi & mx52nv, flights have been booked and I will be there on Sunday the 7th December...arriving at 5:35pm...doh!!! So I'm gonna miss the club cruise. However, I have allowed 2 weeks to complete the project, so will not be leaving Perth until Friday 19th December at 6:35pm. Might there be another opportunity during the weekend in the middle of the stay?
I'm coming over to modify with this jigger for BHP Billiton.
Cheers,
Danny

Ahhhh I figured the next step from an Renesis NC would be to build one of these
I'm sure we can tee something up while you're over.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Do you want to have the first MX-5 in space?

Yeah, needs to be lower, and it needs more dish
What's the 'up close' lift on that thing? And is it just the angle of the shot or does every axle steer?

It's a Grove GMK-7450....which means that it is a 7-axle, 450 Tonne All-terrain crane. Only the 2nd one in Australia. Melrose cranes in Sydney have the first one.
Yes, every axle steers so that the crane can crab sideways if required.
Cheers,
Danny

Unfortunately not Hammer!
I'm in Perth at the moment finishing up a project (refer below piccies) that has sucked all my efforts for the past 3 months....hope to be back in Brisbane Friday night with a view to get stuck into it over the next few weeks.

I did do one thing before heading to Perth, I got the car down off the hoist and on rubber. I also fitted the stripped out hard top so that the rollcage design can be completed.
Cheers,
Danny
