For the seat belts on the Sparco
On outside, undo bottom bolt, feed belt through hip belt slot and rebolt in, on tunnel side, install NA web style belt acceptor on the tunnel, pass through hip slot in seat
This lowers the belts correctly over your lap

Outsides works, The inside trick didn't work for me. It left the buckle at an odd angle and digging into my hip.

Gave up on the Sparcos. Its a 10 min swap over so I can live with that.
Engineer has now passed
(1) Ride height.
(2) Full brake test from 30km/h and 60km/h. This is for the blue slip.
(3) Heat shield (I made a beauty this afternoon. Admittedly this is Mk 3 but Mk 2 was pretty close. Mk1 was a disaster)
I have a small hydraulic leak somewhere and there was a little fluid in a few spots so I need to fix that by Monday and he wants me to make up a little bracket and hose clamp it to the bottom of the front shocks to secure the ABS line properly. Fair point, the MCA's have no bracket and the hose just dangles a little.
After he sees the secured lines on Monday night, he will pass it.
The car weighed in at a rather porky 1095 Kg with 1/2 a tank of E-Flex and the fruit and veg in the boot.
Standard is supposed to be 1050kg so the turbo, intercooler, oil cooler and all the associated piping including Dann's awesome 3" exhaust added about 50kg's.

This photo represents the most significant thing to happen to the white car since getting it in December 2014.
NSW rego plates. Engineered, insured, registered and one very happy little piggy

No Sticker.
I got a 4 page compliance certificate from the engineer.
They also print on your rego papers under "conditions and information" at the bottom.
Modified as per compliance cert 120xxxxxxxxxxxxx Issued 20150114
Best to keep that in the car just in case.

I ended up removing the shinny cover as the coils were not all that secure and were causing some issues. It had a miss under load which turned out to be the rear coil breaking down. I ordered 2 new genuine coils from PEC Australia. I got them for $120.00 each. Mazda wanted $380.00 each.

Managed to get my hands on one of these which was just what I wanted. Mounting holes for the coils but the best thing is that it says "Turbo" and yes, I am that superficial.
Then I removed the polished intake and put back on the ported intake. Ive lost all my bling in one weekend and Im thinking about selling the Carbing 3 point brace as well as its a real pain in the arse working on the car with it on. Its friggin in the way of everything.

So it was only going to me a matter of time before this started
Before:
If I ever found the guy who invented that sticky black gunk that holds the plastic down he is getting a punch in the head. Its the worse stuff in the world to remove. Took nearly an hour to get it all off and get it to this stage.
After:
Sound deadening doesn't take to long. 1 sheet 32" x 18" does this and a good bit of the outer skin. Now we had a decent sealed enclosure to work with.
Speaker install coming up. Nothing special just a pair of Alpine splits using factory wiring.

There is a very long line to get to the black gunk inventor. Did you use a heat gun and then wipe it off?
