Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
Well that's 4 hours I am never getting back.
Had to lift the seat up to tighten the crotch strap, which was way too long. Like wrestling a gorilla in a phone booth.
Why didn't I pick a Commode ......... These things are such a tight fit! After hunting for the lowest profile hex wrench I could find - none was small enough. Had to jam my hands down the side and make do with allen keys. And 4 hours later - mission accomplished.

the real question is...how many beers did you sink while completing? 6+ I think the job could have been done in 2 hours haha

Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
Wow been a while since I have been back here.
With memories of a very hot meet last November at Wakefield, I have these ready to go in the car. Perspex windows with naca ducts, to help keep me cool(er) and get some air onto the windscreen for demisting in wet sessions.

Hopefully have a chance to put them in the car before/during next weekend.

Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
I tried some garage vary ones but they won't get enough air in (so now for sale!). Got these from advanced autosport in the US.
I have got some flexible plastic ag pipe and couplers which I think are going to work pretty well, and allow me to choose whether driver cooling or demisting the windscreen is the priority
(Lesson learnt at the MSC weekend, with the heavy rain, and fogging windscreen).

Re: MAZMAD'S Track car (and Driver) build
Yeah David that's them.
Comes with the Perspex window (with cutout) and stainless fasteners. A bit of silicone sealant, drill a few holes and its done. The test will be how well they fit in the doors, but having put them up against the glass that came out of the doors they look a perfect match so should be fine.
If anyone is shipping them, try shipito.com. Dont think advanced autosport ship to Oz.
