Now I'll squirt some rust converter in there through a syringe, & replace all that sealant with nice new Sikaflex.

probably not that important on a prime but I think its not so much the dust its bigger particle stuff like fine type hairs which is by far the most annoying when they land on a spray job
either way it would be hard to beat a booth. never been in one to try it out but I bet it takes a lot of the problems out of a re-spray, but a garage is not bad either compared to just out in the backyard firing the paint aboutand I've done a few of those too
if I were in your position i'd look at 3 things
1. check very thoroughly all areas masked, if you have help go over and re-check their masking. especially on the edges. it's too late after you throw colour. it must be picked up prior or you just have more work on your hands
2. buy a pack of disposable gloves and put them on when applying the final rub over with the grease and wax remover prior to applying the colour. one cloth to apply and the other to wipe off the residue. keep every-one away from the car.
don't let any-one touch it with their greasy finger. it's in this part of the work where things go wrong and it happens quick. cleanliness is extremely important here.
when grease mark come up in a paint job its immediate and very disappointing and its all down to the person not doing the prep right. happened to me a few times
so check all your masking, make sure your job is spotlessly clean and the spraying is pretty easy or easy if you can get 20c in temp....not easy here
