Something I did about 3 weeks ago was replace my crummy ugly $10 antenna with a BK Mazda 3 roof antenna. It works brilliant compared the thing I had in there. :NA6:

Just been playing around with belt tensioners, rollers & pulleys. The unit on the left is the assembly that came off the donor engine. It came with a rather dodgey bolt & plastic roller setup... I'm unsure if this was the stock system for the +air-con / non power steer setup for the Moss motors / Jacksons Racing kits. I know there is a item that is available from Track Dog Racing but I'm unsure if it supports a non power steer setup (I'll have to send a email & find out) http://www.trackdogracing.com/website/sc_accessories/tensioner.htm

The setup on the right is off a 323 & seems to be exactly the same (just using it for the tensioner hardware). As for the pulleys the one on the left is the stock na6 acc belt pulley. The pulley on the right is a timing belt roller off a Ej20 Subaru engine. It will be the reverse roller on the acc belt after the compressor is fitted.

on a lighter note I'm picking up the stuff from the blasters in the morning so then I can start painting stuff. :D :NA6:

Did some work this weekend.
Sorted the last of the tensioner issues. I have decided to use a AU Falcon tensioner roller, only issue that has become of it is the baring that is on the AU roller is imperial & the bush on the Mazda setup is a metric baring & I can't insert a baring with the correct internal diameter. :/ So I'm getting a bush made up to suit to replace the original on the Mazda setup to let me use the falcon roller with the larger ID.

I also wrapped up the OEM exhaust manifold to try and minimize the heat to the underside of the charger & also bought some silicon couplings from Super Cheap Auto..... They are blue but I preferred black so they will do until I get replacements. :|

So now all I have to do is wait for my machinist to finish the bush & then i'm all sweet to start putting stuff together. :D
