Thats true but its all work.

Ive got to do a fair bit of work on the cooling system also because despite its 1000 dollar radiator it still overheats, it has some really silly stuff though like a bonnet lift.

The car has a lot of things that were the accepted right thing to do a few years ago when it was built, but advances in mx5 race knowledge means there are improvements to be made.

It will be changed.

G, how would the ms handle the power draw if running it in pwm control?

I'd just use a digital relay - few bucks from Jaycar.

Cool didn't realise a relay would be okay with pwm.

I imagine a digital relay is a mosfet cleverly packaged to simply act like and plug in like a relay?

Yep, it fits in the factory location -almost- perfectly.

It will need some clever routing of fittings and some skilled fabrication but it looks great!

Very very excited.

Australia's first Borg Warner EFR Mazda!

It's a turbo designed for race use from the start. Look them up. This one can go over 400rwhp but is more responsive than the smallest ball bearing Garrett T25. So imagine a turbo so small for response it can only hit 180 but it actually makes 400+!

Also I'm in peters SE right now. Finally had time to work on it a bit its spooling awesome and making good power. heaps of oil pressure. Running it in and getting it to drive nice right now. Will report back tonight.
