Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
What Paul said, and total cost was a lot less than half what you suggested.

Hey Dann, thanks for the NA AVO replacement log style manifold. Some beautiful welds. Can't wait to fit it all up and see how it runs. Cheers

Did a good effort on the diff, I have seen a few of them fail in that exact place a few times now.
keep up the good work on the manufacturing Dann. Very keen to see updates on your stuff.

Re: NitroDann's Long Awaited Garage Thread
So with some goals in mind (an na6 in 1:0.....2's...?) the build commenced.
Getting close to the most serious gear Ive had the pleasure of designing and building.
Working out the most suitable spot for the electric water pump in massive serious turbo manifold land.
Fabbing the collectors, these have a pretty low angle for maximum flow through the midrange and top end.
Deciding where the turbo will sit, yep this spot looks like it will get us booked quick smart, it must be a good spot for power.
This shot shows the collector and front 2 cylinders, also note the flipped and welded water outlet to facilitate the electric water pump.
Heaps of room for a 4" dump pipe.
Complete manifold off the car, this setup will fit a 500+ RWHP Borg Warner EFR, down the track, hopefully within 6 months or so.
Watch this space for bulletproofing.
Finishing the welds then porting it, then off to get some good turbo studs.
Not steel, not stainless steel, but Inconel studs. Not 8mm either. 10mm Inconel studs with Stage 8 locking hardware, Resbonded to the manifold.
And then a layer of ceramic coating on the inside and 2 on the outside.
Should be enough to do the trick.
Oh and then Aero.. lots and lots of huge very serious aero.
Finish ETA, next weekend hopefully.
