Just swap in a bucket seat for race days.

The "dickstrap" is in this photo. I think the design is actually for the people who have factory seat can use this item to keep the harness in place. I saw one lady in Barbagallo event and she was using this on her NA factory seat. She said it works.

My apologies, with that name and your comment about the seat hole I assume it was for the base of the seat

Great find never seen anything like it before

To me this looks to be a device that is aimed at keeping your belts handy for when you get in the car, I don't think it will be safe if you crash, for that you would need something that stops the belts from slipping of your shoulders, that's why belts are run through the racing seat so they sit flat on top of your sholders. Possibly a strap across your chest that stops the belts for separating may do the Job for an Autotest in terms of locating you better in your seat, but this thing looks decidedly unsafe for use at speed on a track like Barbagallo...

So you don't want a harness then.

Either that or have a race seat just to swap in on track days. If you can pick up another set of rails too, the process to swap out should take only 5 minutes or so each time.

A harness sternum strap may prevent the harness slipping off the shoulders and possibly not require a racing seat http://wescoperformance.stores.yahoo.net/harness-sternum.html

Oh great, I might get this one instead of the "dickstrap". Thank you so much.

Magpies suggestion of a sternum strap is appealing and while I would agree that it is a soft option and admit that I do not track but drive with spirit, I find my C-GLock very functional.
Greg.
P.S. I did suffer a bruised left knee in my NB, I wonder if the footwell in my NC is a little deeper?

I think C-GLock is not enough for me, since I was doing high speed corner on the track, the factory seatbelt doesn't hold me tight enough. My feets were like swinging left and right hitting the interior of the car. I am sure I need something like hraness that can hold me real tight so I don't roll around in the car :D

Tessy,
Stay with where you are going, my contribution was to suggest that there are other options. On-line shopping is great if you know what you want but the info is limited. Check this mob, http://www.revolutionracegear.com.au/
Golly I am starting to sound like Mr M. (Bless him).

Mr M is quite safe and has been shown to display some relevance if taken in moderation. Advice is to use caution, as excessive exposure can have rather adverse side affects ....

I cannot help but think that Mr M and I are of the same generation, we do not know everything but experience tells. Stodgy but sensible.
