I MUST stop looking at that Elise, makes me want one despite knowing how impractical they are and what a bitch they are to get in and out of (no doubt that you'll try and convince yourself that it's not an issue). Love the loud colour.

well I got sick of watching this video and the whine of the supercharger so I placed a deposit on the car today :lol:

he was a bit hard to catch and had a bit of interest. I have not seen the car but the guy who checked it out said it was fine.

yeah. I placed a deposit probably 2 weeks ago under the condition this bird sales goes ahead........or he could keep the deposit! although I never said that but that was my plan.

I still don't know if I can get in or drive it due to a back problem BUT I bet I could paint to racing stripes down the front/back of it :lol:

that would make it faster.

I'm in the wrong business!

I respect your painting abilities but please do not paint stripes on the Lotus.

If you must then use vinyl.
There is a point that you can go too far and ruin a perfectly good automobile.

I have this gearbox and handbrake gator I pulled from the SE in red and black leather. its in good order and I don't think I will use it again. i'd prefer to give it to some-one who will put it in their car not look at it or throw it in the bin

lotus pick up scheduled in for tomorrow. unfortunately not with me. I am in not that big of hurry to tossed about for the drive but the daughter is :lol:

rough and bumpy road conditions in the blue mountains.

I will wait till it arrives home and try it out on a much smooth surface - plus it would be much easier on my back :lol:

but I can trust the eldest daughter with it as she handle the SE upgrade drive home trouble free and this would be running about equal power.
