So I sold my 23' GT and am now carless until the 35th AE arrives. I do not have the space for a second car so some friends loaned me their Suzuki Ignis for the period between cars. Nice little car too.
I have exhausted all my ideas on tracking the vessel carrying my car, I cannot seem to find the correct ship this time. So I don't have an accurate docking time but it should land between the 16/03/25 and 20/03/25, so not long to wait now. Then roughly 2 weeks to get from Mazda in Melbourne to Mazda in Geelong. So about 3 weeks I recon.
One thing I've learned is 35th AE has DSC track mode and I know very little about this feature or when I should utilize it on the road, if ever. I suppose I'll have to read the manual when it arrives. Anyone know this system? It is incorporated on the RS model too.
So all I do now is wait till I receive an email from Mazda Australia telling me the ship has docked and it will all be getting closer to a pickup date.
P.S. My Mazda dealer is getting a 35th AE in before mine arrives and has let me know that he is going to contact me when it arrives and let me go over it and see what features it has, so that's a bonus, I won't be guessing what mine is like.
Cheers
Mark
