My plan for 2015 is to get down to NSW and do some races and meet some forum members. Hopefully I will get to see your car in action!

Glad this thing is going well dude. Seen a video from byp and it seemed weird hearing the revs of the 5 being chased by an exige!! Sounded awesome. Best of luck with it dude :)

Surely some faster MX5's have been round just not the "official" days.

5.7 seconds a lap better than I went with my old fully Built MX5 race engine which ran on better tyres.

It Was an Impromptu TrackSchool day at the North Circuit Today.

Open Pit lane total of 3 cars turned up

- Hyundai i30 Diesel (chipped)
- SS Ute Stroker with Rollcage sounded good was dog slow
- MONDA

Was only limited by Fuel on Hand and how freaking hot it was.

Gearbox on it's last legs and tyres nothing special, still no aero 200+ into turn 1 is a moment for reflection.
and the 38 degree day might have sapped a bit of power.

It might not be cheap but HONDA power is frikkin sweet.

Great to hear you're enjoying it

If it weren't for the need for a dry sump in a rhd application the kmiata kit would be very tempting, I've got a K20A outside the back door.

Dry Sump not 100% needed.

However the Custom Sump similar to the LHD kit would have cost nearly as much
as a one off to get made and taken a bit longer time wise.

There are over 20 getting built in the USA, the YouTube and Results they get won't lie.

I don't think there will ever be a faster Naturally Aspirated Mazda MX5 combination.

Monda 3.0 will live on in a Space frame with a Sequential gearbox and a small hint of Mazda MX5 dna as well.
