I'm keen to know of your secret technique for mounting the head Pioneer head unit so flush!

Since I don't have access to the car I can't go see, but I do remember fiddling around with something at the back of the head unit mounting frame. My head unit is just sitting in there, I didn't screw it in the way the OEM one is. Also the photo may be deceiving because I trimmed a plastic bezel to go around the removable face of the head unit.

Where'd you order the raybrigs from?

I think I ordered them via import monster, but you could probably get them through RHD Japan, Amayama or similar. If you are in Melbourne then going through rupewrecht is also an option.

Love your smurf work

Thank you for the positive comments.

I miss driving my MX-5 so much, so a few months ago when I had the opportunity to drive an NC I was a little excited. The car was a 2015 automatic NC PRHT and I had it for two days, while it is quite a nice car, unfortunately it didn't feel as fun to drive as my NA.

Until recently I hadn't dríven many cars aside from my MX-5, so I wasn't sure what to expect, especially of a such a modern car. The first thing I noticed was that the engine was stronger, and just like the NA it needed to be revved to get the best out of it. To me the steering in the NC didn't feel quite as direct as the NA and due to the increased weight it didn't feel as nimble. Don't ask why I had an auto, but maybe a manual NC would be nicer to drive.

Inside I was surprised at how similar the seating position and controls were, plus the interior felt a lot better put together than that in my car.
