Haha...bad photo from phone camera.

I wasn't really sure the white would work but it turned out really well. I like the contrast against the dark interior.

Ah, it has been a long hiatus. Have been enjoying the car without more mods.

Recently acquired a used Xforce extractor from APU. So that got me going to change out all of the old exhaust because it was droning loud and annoying me.

Dann kindly did the whole job - fitted the extractor, new cat, resonator and muffler. We went with 2.25" since this is a stock engine and I wanted a reasonably quiet and modest tone.

Thanks Dann - I am loving the quieter tone and extra power/responsiveness. A couple of casual pics I took. The exhaust tip is so small compared to my old one, LOL.

For those who haven't heard it, with a 2.25" (instead of a 2.5") it's got a lovely "old school sports car bark" when revved. Sounds really nice!

Yes, in the sense that he ordered in a suitably large (quiet) Xforce muffler piece and did all the connecting pipes.

Note that this is not a catback system that you can modularly swap with stock NB catback.

This view shows the angled muffler better, which is different from stock muffler East-West placement; supposedly to save a couple of bends.

So, perfect weather today for some DIY at APU’s place – thanks mate.

For sometime now, I have been hating the droopy air vents. Plus they can’t be closed selectively. So they come out after some struggle with old cut-up credit card inserted at 3 and 9 o’clock.

Image

I liked what some folks have done by replacing them with 3rd gen Mitsubishi Eclipse dash vents.

Managed to sourced these vents from the States and after some sawing, they fitted beautifully. Love it!
Looks a bit different and bonus that they can be closed individually so that you can boost air-con flow where you need it.

Now, I have an extra set of 4 of these used vents that I will put for sale shortly. If anyone is interested, watch out the for sale thread. First in, best dressed. Thanks for looking.

Got these new wheels on. They are 15x7 Advanti Storm. 10 lbs each. With new RE002. Feels lighter and sharper.

Liking it. Thanks Bryan!

Most welcome Marcus! Those wheels are amazingly light and very well priced too!
