This was a timely photo. I started my Cold Air Box on the weekend and plan to make the lid like that this weekend, but finish it off in wrinkle black.

Is your engine built yet?

If not, the upper limit of stock engine internals is generally considered to be around 250hp=183.87kw at the flywhheel and I definitely wouldn't want to go anywhere close to that "limit".

Torque is actually what bends rods and I suspect your 2870 will generate enough to bend your rods long before the 250hp "limit".

I have an EFR6258 on my car at the moment with the wastegate wired open and I wont be doing anything to that until the engine gets rebuilt.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

Yeah that is the only thing that is concerning me at the moment is that my engine is not built.

I'm going to have the car tuned safe as possible on e85 as i do plan on giving it a beating at power play and do not really want anything to go wrong after the money that was spent on getting a garage etc.

My previous setup was already putting out 160rwkw with about 205 torque
