Just an update on what's been happening with my car

I installed a cooling pro radiator last month and she's great

Did and oil change the other week and installed some cup holders. I've got pictures at home of the cup holders that I got from a cheap shop for about $3 and they go surprisingly well in the car. I'll post the pics tonight.

And at lunch today I adjusted the throttle cable back to factory tension. Wow! It's like a completely different car now :shock:

I urge anybody that hasn't checked theres to do so straight away.

Wow. Haven't posted in here for close to 3 years! So much has changed where do I start? I might just list it all.

- King Springs and KYB shocks
- NA8 bracing
- MX5 Plus Roll bar
- 4 point harness
- Fixed bucket seat
- Just Jap deep dish steering wheel
- Stereo delete
- Carpet delete
- Centre console delete
- Pod filter and heat shield
- Signature sway bars
- NB8A rims
- Aircon delete
- Power steering delete and rack loop
- Soft top delete
- Hard top addition
- Heater and blower delete
- Home built data logger and camera integration
- Hair dryers installed in demisting pipes with relayed fuse box
- Nitro Dann coolant re-route

And then tonight I put the finishing touches on this:

It is a plug and play 'race style' ignition switch and start button box. Plugs straight into the loom in place of the key switch.
When combined with the switches below it'll allow me to flick a switch for ignition and then press the pretty red button to start the car. I also tapped into an extra wire elsewhere in the harness so that the start button glows red when the ignition is on but then goes out once the car is started.

Today I added some custom door pulls. It is made from a $3 ebay special canvas belt. I was going for something similar in style to those in the Porsche GT3 RS.

Custom power window switches. Switches were bought off ebay. Plugs straight into the loom where the old switch does so there was no need to cannibalise anything. Doing a similar thing on PaulF's car on Sunday.

Here is shot of the wiring. All joints were soldered except for the 6 going to the loom connector. Those were crimped and then soldered to be doubly sure of a good connection.
