Mr Dylan's NA6

Hey everyone, my name's Dylan an this is my mx5.
I've had it since December, and I've wanted one since I beat need for speed underground in one when I was 13. I took this for a test drive and I fell in love.
My friends told me it was a hairdressers car, but I laugh when I actually started cutting their hair when I bought it.
It's got a few little upgrades like an ARC intake, I'll post a list later. Anyway, looking forward to enjoying your forum :-)

You'll have to bring it down to garage cafe on Thursday nights and meet some other mx5 drivers! Looks nice and clean :)

Ahhh I've heard of that, my friend Brett with his wagon R was trying to convince me to go with him last week but I went for a drive in the hills instead...

So anyway, the car has spent a fair bit of time on the jack stands since I bought it. Trying out new oils I'd never have spent the $ on with my commodore, pulling oit the broken air conditioner, fixing exhaust leaks and that.

I bought this with the intention of learning how to work on cars.
The first night I got it, I had to drop the steering column in order to pull out my broken pedal box and weld it back together. :-/
Luckily I have mates who are mechanics eh?

I just love the thing though. I've put a mazdaspeed roll bar on there I bought from that Ruprecht guy in ringwood, he was so cool!

Also my dash lights stopped working so I punched the dash cover and smashed it apart, so I ended up holding it together with stickers.

when the sun caught it though, the reflection made it impossible to see, so I covered it with black felt.

I can honestly say I have no idea how.
This forum is very different to fixed.org.au, where I spend loads of time talking about bicycles, tattoos and getting drunk.
That place just automatically resizes, so does Tumblr, I don't know anything about these serious forums! Haha
