Yep, looks awsome! Nice and clean now.
GV Lip looks good colour coded as opposed to the usual 'leave it black' deal.
Sweet looking car

I've been eyeing off the Jet Stream cf trim for a few weeks now, think you just convinced me.
The car looks great.

Have you thought about doing the windscreen surround in black?

Re: WhiteNa6's... well yeah
Yeah it's been teasing me for months now.
I really want to do it but don't know wether to wrap it of spray it.
Think I'm just going to spray it and be happy.
At least overspray (if any) won't be noticeable.
A tip alex, with the jet stream trim, they provide you with fake stick on rivets.
Throw those in the bin straight away.
I used real rivets and you can definitely notice the difference.

Tough looking build ;)
Did you find that installing the intake chamber made the mania intake less "barky"

Re: WhiteNa6's... well yeah
Yeah funnily enough i did.
I've heard that a standard filter setup with the weapon r can have a deeper tone.
And I had the standard intake pipe and the mania intake originally which was earthshakingly loud.
But since I installed the weapon r aswell as the mania cai it seems to have changed the note.
Instead of shaking the dash with intake bass it seems to be a bit more like irtb's sound.
I'm sure there's a scientific reason for it which i don't understand.
Chris.

Re: WhiteNa6's... well yeah
Ah, great. Thanks Chris.
I am looking into getting an ARC intake chamber very soon and this was my main concern. I have just fitted a much quieter exhaust and the Mania intake really dominates. The intake chamber will do the trick i think

I would think so.
As far as I know the diameter on the arc intakes are quite different.
The weapon r is 2.75inch all the way with a smaller diameter secondary tube inside it.
The arc expands Into a larger chamber then reduces back down to 2.75 at the throttle body.
Not sure if this changes much though.

Also with my current exhaust setup it's amazing that I can still hear any intake.
This tells me that even with the weapon r and the mania cai, intake is still extremely loud.

Hah you haven't heard the half of it.
Foot flat over 3k and the dash sounds/feels like it's about to implode.
And with the windows down the exhaust just destroys eardrums.
I'm convinced that pregnant ladies should flee when I'm around.

Re: WhiteNa6's... well yeah
ok everyone, this car is now unfortunately for sale.
my situation has changed and i have agreed to take on a KE70 corolla build which will mean that the mx5 will sit in the garage collecting dust.
instead of doing this i have decided that it would be better to sell him and let somebody else enjoy it.
this is one of the hardest things i have had to do in the 12 years i have been modifying cars.
whitena6 is a part fo my family and i can guarentee that whoever is the next owner will feel the same way.

Re: WhiteNa6's... well yeah
Chris, it's very sad to see you selling this. Thanks for the group txt.
I have been admiring the bits on the car; happy to chat about some of the minor bits if you are willing to put those bits back to stock...
