Glad I'm keeping it too!!
I loving my car more than ever lately aswell!

Intake and boost controller in on Thursday. Just waiting on a quote for front pipe and cat. Would love to get coilovers, but the stock sussy is perfect - so I just don't see any point yet.

Would love a set of Enkei RPF1's, but the offset is so weak. 17 x 7 +35.

So, my AEM intake, Turbo Smart BOV and HKS EVC-S went in last night.

Only running safe boost, and have throw another 0.5 PSI at low boost, and another 1.2ish PSI at high boost (which i'll probably never use anyways). Already it has picked up soo much more power. The ECU is still relearning a little bit though - but it's not hitting boost cut or anything. The intake is awesome - but a biatch to install. Now time for a Front pipe :)

So new update.

One of my headlight bulbs went - so I thought i'd take advantage of that buy some HID's.

Stupid manual says bulbs are HB4/9006 - but obviously this was not the case. They are H7.

Called JDM Yard, and got a set of 6000K HID's.

Comparison between normal bulb and HID's.

That's the first time I've seen a comparison shot of the projection between the HIDs and OEM bulbs. Normally people just photograph the headlights which really isn't much use, it's more beneficial to see the difference in what they actually light up - the HIDs are significantly brighter.

Thanks for that, you may have convinced me to do yet another upgrade. When I drove my car up from Melbourne when I initially bought it, I wasn't too keen to drive too far along the Newell highway route at night because there were lots of kangaroos and the regular headlights weren't terribly effective - there were lots of trucks coming the other way on the route so the high beams weren't on a lot.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

No worries mate.

Well worth upgrade IMHO (for projector headlights). One thing I hated about my car, was that the lights weren't very good at all. It's sweet now.

FYI, the JDM Yard HID's are good. I've had 3 sets of other 6000K HID's before - and the JDM Yard ones are alot whiter.

Looking good. I have a set of HIDs from ebay, 4300K in colour and at that colour temp there seems to be a little bit less glare. Could just be the shot though..
