Nothing wrong with a bit of rice or dress up if we can call it that in a more politically correct way. Most of us can all be acused of that. But its priobably the misguided ideas & reasoning that comes along with it at the same time which irritates me lately.
maybe I should have a little thread where everytime the bumfluff on my neck raises I can just scream out & vent.
or maybe I should just take Patchy along Putty road.

Your just showing your age Go back and here you cardigan and buy an NC xD
They are a bunch of hardparkers over there. There has been a thread on CR.net recently about "What the point of being slammed is"...Its just a fad Turn a blind eye and it disappears ;)

mmm! Standard miatas are nice. Slammed, Equips with low offset, GV lip. Needs to be Chaste White though I'm not too sure if the RS*R is part of the standard though :S
The "standard" refers to the height, anything like that or lower, your slammed.

I'm sure i will get points stating the other side, but in my opinion, there has to be expert delivery of ride height balanced with comfort, most of the cars I have seen "slammed" must have the latter lacking.
Ride comfort and slammed definitely do not go hand in hand. Handling also gets thrown out the window as well. The US seem to be able to pull it off day to day, they must have silky smooth roads. Its definitely not feasible in Australia, but MX5s sure look stunning when down low.

On that note. I originally bought the car for cheap convertible.
Funny that STM, most of them jumped from their civics to "miatas", theres the connection!
Personally, i love my slammed 5, it isn't for everyone but its what i like.

I bought my first MX5 despite it being a convertible. If Mazda had bought out an MX5 coupe I would have been driving an MX5 years ago.

Cant say that i ever had anything against convertibles.
I actually always wanted an mx5 but always found it to be to impractical when i only own one car. But now i have one i find it not so bad.
