replaced the radiator today with this SE one (twice the thickness)

annoyingly the fan doesn't seem to working

dont know how long its not been running, what kind of damage would one expect running with no fan to cause?

Not working at all? did you try with the aircon on?

i dont hav a/c. checked the fuses and the "FAN" fuse was fine but the "BLOWER" fuse wire is almost black compared to the others' copper. might replace that just to see if it fixes it

reckon its ok to drive it a little?

Just wondering because my fans don't turn on all the time only when required but they are on regardless of temp if aircon is on.

Depends on how you drive, how far, and what sort of traffic. If you do then keep a close eye on engine temp

I wish id seen your reply earlier, alex. For some reason i thought the fan's supposed to ALWAYS come on once the car is warmed up, thought i read it round here somewhere.. but ive had a look at the fan a few times after spirited runs and normal driving n it would be on sometimes, not always. i reckon it may be less needed now with the thicker radiator.. maybe..
