Ok, so I'm a bit late posting in this section, but I wanted to get Tweety to a certain point in her evolution before letting her loose on you.
When I got her. She was in pretty good condition for her age, with about 100,000 Km on the clock. I actually found her in Perth and had her shipped over to Melbourne.
In between. I have had her for about 3 years now and have made the odd change or two.
This is how she looks now. These shots were taken today at our local beach.

This is one of, if not the nicest NA I have ever had the pleasure of seeing, everything is just so nicely modiefied and so tasteful. Its far from slow either!

Are you thinking of colour coding the batman rear deck? Looks a bit odd in the black!

Looking great Jeff, I can see the seaguls fighting over it like a big golden chip
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Good one Juffa - been waiting for a Malibu to hit this thread! Did'nt realise you'd boosted it. If you want an idea of what it looks like with the rear deck yellow and the door sills then see mine on "show us your wheels.." thread page 23. i'm just going to have to lower mine soon! Top car.
NB SE, NA 1.8.

I like the black ... I reckon if it was yellow tweetie would be too yellow. The black tones it down a bit.
Matches the tyres too

I reckon those twin-hoop roll-bars with the Speed Racer decklid on NA's are da bomb!
