Car was getting a new fuel pump and the tuner decided to give it a tweek...... It was looking for 15PSI on stock NB8B internals. He did say "SORRY MAN" and he would retune for free after It was rebuilt. (like that was going to happen) Worst thing was the engine only had 24000km.
RIchard.
Note to self. Get over it and just enjoy the car as it is now.

Good link
Doesn't put me off. The dyno is only as good as the operator, and alot of those were poorly done (not tied down correctly etc). Others are only duplicating what would happen on the road anyway.
Cheers Woz

A lot of the engine damage ones looked to me like competition power runs, I would imagine if somebody builds an engine for Summernats Dyno challenge they're just aiming for absolute peak numbers and engine life isn't as much of a concern.

Liked the one with the VL Commodore with the two huge guys sitting on the boot. Classic.
