Globes for where.
Headlights I assume.
Do you care about legality?
Do you care about bulb life?
Forget HID kits. They are old school.
If you don't care about legality, there are quite a few LED plug in options available these days.
And pretty much every 2nd new car out there these days have super white bright leds so realistically its not a standout problem anymore.
The problem is working out what brands and models are any good.
In my Pug I am running Cougar Motors X-Small in H7 fitment at the moment.
Great Brightness compared to the Auxbeam S2 LED's I had before. They were pretty much just equivalent if not slightly worse than OEM halogens.
Far better than standard OEM lamps.
Better than Narva +110 I had as well.
Not as bright as most modern new cars with factory LEDs though. Better than my mums corollas LED's. So you will blend in.
No idea how long they will last as I have only had them for 5 months now.
BTW, most of the performance halogen globes out there will fail very quickly.
It even says it on the box if you read carefully in the fine print.
Most of the big brands(Narva, OSRAM, Phillips etc) will state if they are ADR compliant.
They are brighter than the standard OEM globes but is it really worth spending $50 to $100 and having them fail in less than a year. Well for me at least as I have night driving every week all year round.

Just buy Osram or Phillips bulbs with an e marking- in the past these were the best bulb makers and likely unchanged . I have an NC and reckon the lighting is not bad. Higher wattage bulbs were always a bit of a con- the reality was lower life and often the increased brightness was more about hype than real improvement. Bulbs will lose brightness over a period of time. One thing I really like about most of the new cars is the wonderful lighting with esp LED technology.

Yes, higher output globes are a con. Double the price for half the life. Dazzle oncoming drivers.
