Apparently the NB has an earth/ground behind each headlight, but for the life of me I can’t find them.
Does anyone know exactly where they are?
And is there actually one behind the intake manifold as well?
I’ve looked at so many schematics and all say NB’s have points in these locations but I simply can’t find them.
And for bonus points, where does the ecu earth to if I wanted to test it’s ground?

See "electrical_componentlocation" .pdf file in https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B3YbfB30DxW0bEdwS0xSNGVXMzA
Refer to the Grounds Location Table and Figures 1 and 3 for the approximate location.

Re: NB earth locations
the 'headlight' earths are sandwiched between the headlight and the panel underneath - you probably won't see them with the headlight in place;
the trouble I have found with the wiring diagrams is that all I have been able to find are for LHD, so they're mostly OK but when parts are moved then they're not accurate anymore. Eg the ECU moves from the RH to LH side of the car, so the earthing appears to be different...
I can't find any earth to the rear of the intake manifold, but there is one at the front of it. I think that the black-blue wire is the ECU earth - not 100% sure, but I'll try to trace it tomorrow. Have the dash out at present, so that makes it easier!. The USA manuals refer to the ECU earth point at "G5" on the RH (our drivers side) of the car - but blowed if I can find any others. note that some manuals say ECU earth is Black-red, some Black-blue, and both are present at that earth.
There is an earth strap at the back of the engine on the hot side that I don't find in the US manuals - maybe that's the equivalent for the rear of the intake manifold?
I dig into it tomorrow
[if anyone has a RHD wiring diagram for a 2002 I'd love a copy!! ]
