Bluetooth Handsfree A2DP MP3 CD Changer Adapter Mazda MX5

Hi Guys,
I'm wondering if anyone has fitted one of these devices, I came across while looking for something else on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Car-Bluetoo ... 1438.l2649

For under $100 it seems too good to be true. If I really could get hands free through the stereo controlled from the steering wheel it is likely my NC would get more weekday use. I'm not really interested in buying an expensive new head unit and fascia panel, but would be really interested if this does what it claims and there id no cosmetic downside.
Will be really interested to hear if anyone has gone down this path?

I notice that the radio depicted in the ad is not the same as my NC2, mine is a 2010.

Description says up to 2008 model. Might need further inquiry before you commit.

Have you considered the GROM unit? It works a treat. I use it on a daily basis.

Ok so I now know what a GROM unit is but their website seems to indicate not compatible with 2009 NC2 though a 2005 MX5 Miata is listed.

I've been doing a bit more looking after finding that the GROM units are not compatible with a 2009 NC2 and I've found this Denison Gateway unit that appears as if it might be https://cushieaudio.com.au/product/dension-gateway-lite-bt/?attribute_option=GBL3MA1
I say might be as it appears that the audio equipment and specs may be different in the US and in other places to what we got in Oz?
Does anyone know anything about these Denison units?

Hi there Michelin man. I tried the Dension Gateway and it didn't want to play in my NC2. Chris at Cushie Audio was very gracious and took it back for full refund.

Seems the NC2 and BT compatibility are a grey zone.

Not that desperate for BT if I have to splice wires or replace a head unit. So I just won't bother answering the phone whilst I drive the 5

I've never been in a car with Bluetooth as part of the stereo where it actually worked. (factory or aftermarket)

it's always been a horribly complex affair to actually get things connected, and even once that happens, half the features don't work properly anyway.

Just stumped up some cash for one these https://www.ebay.com.au/p/Anker-Soundsy ... 1153435410

Reviews are very favourable for I suppose a portable solution. Let's see how it goes!
