Starter motor replacement trouble

Im only a backyard mechanic but the short answer is no. The worst part is that once you can get an extension on, you can only rotate the bolt a few degrees at a time. Expect many cuts and 3 hours to remove it. It's frustrating as hell, but fortunately putting it back in takes only 2 hours 55.. I ended up not putting that particular on back in. Had help from Cus when I finally changed mine.
Have had no issues with 2 bolts holding the starter, and its very rigidly held in places with the bracket against the block.

You can drop the rear of the transmission by unbolting the ppf and letting the engine rotate down. You can get to all the transmission and starter bolts easier then. But getting the ppf off and back on is hard with the exhaust there so you have to make the call which is the least pain.

I use a little air ratchet to get the bolts off. Once they are cracked they generally undo easy enough you just need to get it in there.

Last suggestion is to buy a snapon ratchet spanner. They aren't cheap but they require only a few degrees of movement to lock so they are great for getting bolts undone where there is very little movement. Either way its a good excuse to buy some nice tools.
