Hi.
The first time my idle decreased from idling on the tachometer line before the number one (whatever that is) and idles on the first line I changed to a new set of plugs and the idle went back to where it normally idles at. Just had the same thing happen-new plugs and idles as it should be. Strange.
My car always tells me when I need new spark plugs

Re: My car always tells me when I need new spark plugs
Hi.
Maybe the problem is spark plug leads touching each other. Cheap induction timing lights sometimes do not work if a lead touches the lead for number one spark plug which is using the induction unit. Separate them and the timing light works as it should. Think it is time to get some additional spark plug wire separators in addition to the factory fitted units.
