NB cluster warning lights disco

hello, recently I have been experiencing an odd issue.

The cluster warning lights, handbrake/abs/airbag in my 2004 NB SE keep randomly turning on and off.
They sometimes are individual and sometimes all together.
I can hear a relay clicking as they come on/off.

They work as they should on start up.

I don't think there is anything wrong with my abs or airbag. Handbrake light works correctly.

This only happens when the coolant temp rises to smack bang dead centre. (Normally sits below half).
I'm not sure if the coolant temp is actually rising, of if the gauge along with the lights is playing up.

I have a stand alone ecu.

I am putting in an aftermarket gauge tomorrow to monitor temps more correctly.

Any help or trouble shooting advice is welcome.
Thanks :)

Do you think it's happening as the ECU is telling the radiator fan to kick in?

No it's not, fans are on before the lights flicker and still on when they stop.

I'd talk to whoever wired in the ECU and see what they wired those lamps in as.

Either that, or perhaps if the later MX5 has a body control computer it may not be playing nicely with the new engine computer. (ie: not recieving the signals it's expecting)
