I've officially had enough now of BARMY blowing EFI relays resulting in the fuel pump not working (as well as maybe other things I don't know about).
From discussions with others and what I've read here, it seems the relay is overstressed now there's a bigger fuel pump, Haltech ECU etc.
So please give me your recommendations for a great auto elec who:
1. Is in Melbourne, preferably SE, although someone getting a lot of reps can be further away.
2. Understands MX5s, preferably modified ones.
3. Will be prepared to properly listen to the issues and feel confident of sorting them in one visit.
4. Someone mobile would be an extra bonus.
It will also be interesting to hear if anyone else has had similar issues and what was done to solve them.
Thanks in advance.

You could try talking with Performance Ignition Services in Nunawading and see if they want to take it on themselves or refer you on to one of their more mainstream auto-elec customers. From my own experience they give honest advice, quote accurately and have a heap of experience with race needs. Also you might get to see some very cool current and vintage racecars in the workshop.
